The following is the return policy on New, Factory Reconditioned, and Used Stair Lifts.
Purchase of our stair lift means you understand and accept the return terms and conditions below.You may cancel your order prior to shipment and obtain a full refund of your purchase price unless your track has been cut then there is a $200 fee for track preparation and boxing.AmeriGlide stair lifts may be returned within 5 business days of receipt for a refund less the following:All returned stair lifts shall incur a 15% restocking fee calculated from the gross selling price to cover the cost of handling and initial preparation of the unit.All returned stair lifts will be charged the outbound freight expense incurred by the company to ship the unit, which is $199.Return shipping is the obligation of the customer.
Please contact Customer Service at 800-922-3659 to obtain an Return Authorization form prior to shipping the unit back.Refused Shipment Policy:
If a stair lift shipment is refused by the customer at the delivery address, the customer will be responsible for a minimum $700 fee to cover prep, handling, track, and freight charges.Cancelations, refunds, and returns.
Stairlifts are considered medical equipment, and due to the nature of the installation, all sales are final.Once straight stairlift tracks are cut, there are no returns or cancelation.Curved tracks are custom ordered designed to specific specs to fit a particular layout and can not be reused at another home without substantial replacement parts.Once a deposit is received, all sales are final.A cancelation of a curved stairlift may be possible but only with verbal confirmation within 72 hours of the deposit being recieved.Cancelation after 72 hours up to aprx. 7 days may be possible on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of the manufacturerA $4000 cancelation fee may be accessed for canceling curved stairlifts after 7 days of receiving a deposit.By sending/offering a deposit you are acknowledging and agreeing to all terms in this document.
